Another Way is a community rooted in Cornwall, inspired by the land, and its spirituality and its stories.
Drawing on the traditions of Celtic Christianity, we seek a simple Way of Life, following in the footsteps of those who shaped this 'Land of Saints.'
We gather across Cornwall, sharing meals, worship, prayer, creativity, pilgrimage, and acts of service, living a rich, seasonal rhythm together.
In a time when many are searching for meaning and hope, we rediscover ancient practices that ground us and reconnect us to God, to one another, and to the land. Another Way is an invitation to walk this path.

Our Way of Life is based around seven postures and draws from the monastic tradition. We practice the Way of Life as a community, and no one is pressured to join in with anything beyond what feels appropriate for the particular stage of their journey of life and faith.
Our seven postures and practices are: Simplicity, Hospitality, Environmentalism, Creativity, Pilgrimage, Worship, and Listening.
Resistance: We can use simplicity and creativity as vehicles of resistance against the pressures of consumerism, greed, injustice and hate.
Reconciliation: We believe in the reconciliation of all things: people, animals, the land and God.
Re-imagination: We are guided by the ancient practices of our faith, discovering new meaning in them for the 21st century, allowing us to find life and meaning for today.
Is Another Way LGBTQIA+ inclusive?
For many at Another Way, the inclusion of LGBT+/queer people and relationships is a crucial way we live out our faith. You can expect this value to be reflected in the welcome you receive here.
What can I expect at an Another Way gathering?
Our gatherings are simple, relaxed, and rooted in both ancient and contemporary expressions of faith. We draw from the Christian tradition while making room for personal reflection and interpretation.

Everyone is welcome to attend our gatherings and events, participating in community life as much or as little as their circumstances allow.
